Paula Francine Wood Knight died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, in Seattle after a lifelong battle with rheumatoid arthritis. She was 62 years old.

She born July 4, 1942, in Iowa. Her family recalls she was a ray of light to all who knew her. She never let her illness shake her belief in the goodness of those around her.

Survivors include her sister Chris, sons Michael, David, and Jeff Knight, daughters-in-law Jeanette and Mary, grandchildren Stephanie, Meghan, Morgan, Mollie, Christopher, Samuel, and Mia, as well as many friends at the Vashon Community Care Center.

Donations in her memory can be made to the Vashon Community Care Center or the Arthritis Foundation. A service was planned for yesterday.
