Donald A. MacKinnon died April 6, 2004, in Port Angeles Hospital with his wife and daughter by his side. He was 80 years old.

Mr. MacKinnon lived on Vashon Island for 40 years and then retired with his wife, Duwaina, in Sequim, Wash.

Survivors include his wife, Duwaina, daughters and son-in-laws, Mary and Mike Reuter, Laurie and Mike Hildebrand, Jean Nelson, Sarah and Dan Wilkerson, and grandchildren Shannon and Michael (Keith) Reuter, Brian Hildebrand, Nicky, Roxanne and Katie Nelson, and Randi and DJ Wilkerson, and a great many friends and family.

There will be no memorial service at his request.
