?Retired Captain Frede Frost
crossed the “Final Bar” at home on July
1, 2005, after a long battle with cancer. Frede, a long time resident of Gold Beach, was born in Omo,

a sailing ship Captain and he leaves behind a long legacy of seagoing family in Denmark.
