Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang will once again discover the true meaning of Christmas when a cast of 28 Vashon Island Youth Chorus members stage the holiday classic, “A Charlie Brown Christmas” next week.
The show, directed by Marita Ericksen, will also include a short concert of seasonal two and three-part harmony choral. The grande finale will be a singalong of traditional carols.
The show will be performed four times at the Blue Heron Art Center on Dec. 9 through 12. Admission to the 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, performance is $5 with a donation of canned goods. Other performances will take place at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 10 and 11, and 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12. Tickets, $6 and $9, are on sale at Blue Heron, Heron’s Nest and Books by the Way.
