Blue Heron show is a lively mix of fiddles and step dancing
The Gothard Sisters Trio will arrive on the Island to perform a show at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 19, at the Blue Heron.
Tickets for the all-ages show, $12 and $15, are on sale at the Heron’s Nest, Blue Heron, Books by the Way, www.brownpapertickets.com and by calling 463-5131.
The sister act, which tours widely throughout the United States, combines high-octane fiddle playing with lively step dancing.
The trio triumphed in 2007 when they danced as part of a team that came in second in the world championships of Irish Step Dancing in Scotland.
