New designs are nothing like original design from the UW students

I'm confused by the July 27th article on the farmers market subtitled, "Ideas based on concept created by UW students" ("Public input sought on potential Village Green, community farmers market building designs," July 27). The two proposed market buildings on the front page don't look anything like the drawings the UW team gave us last year. Many islanders gave input during that design process, and the proposed buildings were interesting and seemed to preserve more grassy area on the Village Green.

Perhaps The Beachcomber would publish the UW students’ final drawings so we could include their design ideas in our discussion of the future farmers market building.
